Oregon 43 California 15 (pick: Oregon 47-10)
The Ducks overpowered Cal on both sides of the ball in the second half, putting together their best football of the season.

UCLA 28 - Washington State 25 (pick: WSU 27-18)
This is why the Cougs are the Cougs - and how their nickname was transformed into a verb synonymous with folding up like a cheap tent.
Oregon State 37 - Arizona 27 (pick: OSU 35-31)
Good win for the Bennys - and now the rest of us won't have to watch Mike Stoop's infantile sideline behavior.
Arizona State 35 - Utah 14 (pick: ASU 45-17)
Even if the Utes had the services of starting quarterback Jordan Wynn they wouldn't have beaten ASU. Without him? No chance. none. Zero.
Stanford 48 - Colorado 7 (pick: Stanford 57-13)
Zero was also Colorado's chances of upsetting Stanford. It's going to be a long, long process in Boulder.

USC @ California
Sooner or later, one would think, Jeff Teford and the Bears would knock off USC. They haven't since 2003 - a skid that started after a 34-31, 3OT win in Teford's first year in Strawberry Canyon. Since then it has been all USC and generally by lopsided margins. Maybe playing across the Bay in AT&T Park will change Cal's fortunes??? Not. USC 35 - 21

Brigham Young @ Oregon State
Can Oregon State make it two wins in a row and avenge a horrible outing in the Las Vegas Bowl against BYU two seasons ago? Yes. The Beavs aren't going to strike fear in the hearts of many teams this year, but with a new found running game and Malcolm Agnew returning, Oregon State should come out on top, 27-18
Utah @ Pittsburgh
Neither of these two are having anything near the type of season they hoped. It's about to get worse for Utah, Pittsburgh 24-13
Colorado @ Washington
More Husky madness in Montlake - Washington improves to 3-0, 37-10 but the party ends next week in Palo Alto.
Stanford @ Washington State
Is it possible that after falling to UCLA last week in a game that was eminently winnable that WSU will be able to refocus and upset the seventh ranked Cardinal? It's possible. Not that it will happen, but it's possible. Stanford 57- WSU 23
Arizona State @ Oregon
The most enticing game on the docket by far. ASU is chock full of speed, size and attitude, all necessary ingredients to beating Oregon. With LaMichael James likely sidelined, the Sun Devils have higher hopes of slowing the Ducks ground game. So be it. Darron Thomas takes to the air early, freeing Kenjon Barner and De'Anthony Thomas in the second half and Oregon wins 38-25.
